Before confirming dates
A business submits a request for current/future dates through Book Now or the booking tools. Requests are subject to eligibility, date limits and conflict checks. A pending request does not reserve the calendar. The freelancer can approve or decline; approval reserves the accepted dates.
Agree the service, hours, price, advance, delivery, travel, cancellation charges/refunds and usage rights in writing. Availability icons and profile listings do not replace a confirmed booking and agreed commercial terms.
Freelancer cancellation
A freelancer can use the ordinary cancellation action only for an approved booking when its start date is at least seven calendar days away, calculated by the current date in India Standard Time. This is a calendar-date rule, not a rolling 168-hour test.
For an emergency inside that period, immediately notify the business and contact support. Explain the problem, propose a mutually acceptable solution and preserve evidence. Contacting support or proposing a substitute does not by itself cancel, reschedule or release the booking. There is no automatic emergency waiver of the parties’ obligations.
Business cancellation
A business can cancel an approved booking through the current self-service flow while neither party has recorded completion. The freelancer’s seven-day restriction does not apply to the business cancellation action.
This technical permission is not a right to cancel without consequences. The business remains responsible for any lawful payment, expense, notice or compensation obligation in the parties’ agreement. Notify the freelancer promptly and provide the cancellation reason.
Confirmation, dates and completion
Cancellation takes effect in the platform when the server confirms the status change. Check the booking status and retain the confirmation. Cancelled booking dates are released subject to other calendar blocks or reservations.
Once either party records completion, the ordinary cancellation action is unavailable. Contact the other party and support about unresolved issues; do not mark work complete merely to manipulate cancellation eligibility. Completion requires the booking period to have ended and both parties to record completion for the platform’s final completed state.
Rescheduling, substitutes and exceptional events
A proposed new date does not automatically change the old reservation. Agree changes with the other party, update the supported booking/contract records and create a new request when needed. Confirm the new dates are available before releasing or relying on the old dates.
Illness, travel disruption, venue closure and other exceptional events should be addressed under the parties’ agreement and applicable law. Discuss reasonable mitigation, a replacement or rescheduling. Neither a private agreement nor a support request should be assumed to override server restrictions automatically.
Refunds and cancellation charges
WedQuarter does not collect or hold payments for ordinary direct business–freelancer work. It cannot automatically return money that it never received. No fixed platform cancellation fee, automatic refund percentage or guaranteed compensation is created by this policy.
The parties must agree and directly settle any advance refund, outstanding fee, documented expense or cancellation charge under their contract and law. Do not assume a cancelled status proves that money has been repaid. Retain transaction evidence and written settlement confirmation.
Platform access is currently free, with no active paid membership checkout. The separate Refund Policy explains this free period, member-to-member payments and any future subscription refund conditions. A cancellation status does not itself create a payment or a refund.
Complaints and evidence
Write to wedquarters@gmail.com with the profile/booking reference, dates, agreed terms, timeline and a concise account of the issue. Staff may request relevant evidence privately and assess platform access or badge status. Do not publicly post identity documents or residential addresses.
A report is not a finding of fraud. Staff should consider both sides, preserve relevant records and explain any platform action when appropriate. Criminal complaints, recovery claims and statutory remedies remain available independently of platform support.
