Verification & Safety Policy

Ordinary mobile verification on WedQuarter uses a one-time password sent to the supplied number. Admin-created accounts with a valid international number outside India are exempt from mobile OTP; this does not mark their number verified. Private-link demo accounts require no personal email, mobile number or OTP and use shared sample profiles, so participants must use sample information only. A successful OTP check means the user could access that number at that time. An email confirmation, if displayed separately, confirms access to that email account.

OTP verification does not prove a person’s legal identity, home address, qualifications, criminal record, character, financial position, business registration, work ownership or future conduct. WedQuarter does not currently conduct police checks, private investigations, physical address visits or integrated government-database identity checks.

You can request a blue tick from My account → Blue tick verification. Submit your own government photo ID, PAN card and number, and a complete, accurate current residential address. If you choose Aadhaar, upload both sides of a masked copy with only the last four Aadhaar digits visible. Aadhaar is optional: passport, driving licence and voter ID alternatives are available. You can use an otherwise eligible account without submitting Aadhaar or requesting a blue tick.

An authorised administrator may manually approve a blue tick for a submitted application with the required documents, PAN details, address and separate consent. Approval records the administrator, time and manual decision. It does not assert that a UIDAI signature, government database or physical address check occurred. WedQuarter does not perform integrated UIDAI authentication. If Aadhaar offline verification is separately undertaken, its lawful consent, applicable authorisation and official digital-signature requirements still apply; manual badge approval does not perform or replace that process. PAN review is document comparison, not automated Income Tax Department validation.

A blue tick records a manual platform approval of a submitted document application at that time; it is not government-authenticated identity verification. It does not certify a physical address visit, criminal record, character, skill, reliability, solvency, equipment ownership or future conduct, and does not eliminate fraud risk. Ordinary listing approval, a badge, a rating or ranking is not an endorsement, employment offer, insurance or payment guarantee. Earlier badges reflect their actual recorded checks and must not be represented as proof of a newer or stronger check.

Keep submitted information accurate and notify support if it materially changes. Forged, stolen, misleading or unreadable evidence may lead to rejection, a request to resubmit, badge removal or proportionate account action. A badge can be reviewed or withdrawn when evidence, consent or circumstances change.

Both businesses and freelancers should conduct independent, lawful and proportionate due diligence before entering an engagement. Confirm the person and business you are dealing with, references, relevant work samples and ownership, event dates, scope, deliverables, payment recipient and written cancellation terms.

You may seek professional advice or engage a lawful investigation service at your own expense. Do not impersonate authorities, obtain protected information unlawfully, publish private documents or harass others. Do not share OTPs, passwords, banking PINs or remote-access permissions.

Use written agreements and retain communications and payment receipts. Direct payment arrangements and any advance refunds are the parties’ responsibility. WedQuarter does not hold those funds or guarantee recovery.

Read the Privacy Policy and the upload notice, and separately consent before submitting. Your ID images, PAN details, residential address, consent and review records are stored privately for the stated verification purpose and accessed only by authorised review staff. They are not shown to hiring members or sent to AI for image preparation. Do not send identity documents through public profiles, ordinary chat or WhatsApp.

JPEG, PNG and WebP images up to 15 MB can be prepared in your browser. Prepared JPEG uploads are limited to 2 MB each. The process preserves already-small JPEGs and uses conservative resizing/compression for larger images. Check the preview for readable text and secure QR codes before submitting. Mask Aadhaar yourself using a proper masked copy; the website does not automatically detect or redact every Aadhaar number.

Contact wedquarters@gmail.com from your registered account/email for access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion. Withdrawal of optional verification consent may require removal of the badge, but does not itself remove ordinary account access. Aadhaar-derived offline data is used only for verification. Applicable Aadhaar withdrawal rules require verifiable deletion and acknowledgement, including handling affected copies and backups; any exceptional preservation requires a specifically identified lawful basis.

Stored files and backups need documented retention review; there is no universal automatic expiry for all verification copies. Removing an active file does not silently erase every prior downloaded backup. Staff must explain remaining lawful retention and complete required deletion and restore safeguards. Do not treat consent or encryption as permission to store prohibited full Aadhaar numbers.

Report suspected impersonation, theft, fraud, threats, harassment, forged work or non-performance with relevant profile/booking references and evidence. A report is an allegation until appropriately assessed. Do not expose private identity records publicly.

WedQuarter may restrict access and review platform evidence, with proportionate reasons and an opportunity for review where appropriate. We cannot promise investigation outcomes or repayment. Contact the appropriate authorities for crime or immediate safety concerns. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory legal rights or WedQuarter’s own non-excludable duties.

Blue ticks can be approved manually by an authorised administrator for a complete, separately consented document application. The recorded decision identifies the administrator, time and submitted application; it does not assert UIDAI or government authentication, an offline-signature check or a background check. For future badge decisions this notice supersedes earlier wording that made a signature-attestation form or offline-signature verification a prerequisite to this limited platform badge. Required documents, PAN details, address, privacy protections, alternative IDs and consent withdrawal remain in place. Earlier approvals and consent records are not rewritten. Any separately undertaken Aadhaar offline verification remains subject to its applicable lawful process and official digital-signature requirements.
